Federal Jobs Information Session - Wed., June 22

posted Jun 18, 2011, 8:53 AM by TN Editor   [ updated Jun 18, 2011, 8:54 AM ]

At 10 AM on Wednesday, June 22, Bob Packer, Program Manager from the Brockton VA will return to Transitions Needham to let us all know how to find job postings and possibly get employed by the Federal Government. Bob was here in March sharing his experience with many participants requesting a follow-up to his session. This is a great opportunity for those who missed Bob’s session.

USAJOBS.gov is the official job site of the US Federal Government.

It's your one-stop source for Federal jobs and employment information.

Bob will educate us as to how the Federal hiring process works. It is quite different from typical processes. He is also going to show examples on the website live to help understand the “ins and outs” of how to optimize your search and application efforts.

If you go and set up an account today, you’ll be one step ahead of the game when Bob comes in on Wednesday.
