What Color Is Your Parachute, by Richard N. Bolles, is a classic book for job hunters and people contemplating career change. The author’s goal is to help readers find meaningful employment, which takes into account an individual’s unique skills and passion.

 

Rick Hardy is a seasoned Human Resources professional and Transitions member. He has lead sessions for Northeastern University’s MBA Career Assessment. During the summer, on Wednesday mornings, Rick will lead Transitions attendees in exercises from the book and in discussion based on this book. Rick’s goal is to introduce a new way to look at yourself that will help you address, “Tell me about yourself.”

 

Rick will assign exercises during each session. Participants will do the exercise on their own and bring the completed exercise to the next session.
